Blaine Dunn is a rare public servant who combines intelligence, experience, and integrity at time when all are desperately needed. He is a consistent truth teller at a time when even “conservatives” ignore the collision course created by decades of fiscal irresponsibility. Blaine is the strong, sober and stable voice Frederick County needs in office to survive and even thrive in these truly uncertain and unstable times.

Although we may not agree on basic political philosophies, I admire your approach in dealing with public issues. It appears that you first undertake an objective study in defining the situation before applying a solution. You are very approachable, engaging, and honest …a great attribute for any public official.

Blaine Dunn listens to constituents. I raised the issue of the Abrams Creek bike trail with him. He listened to my thoughts, asked me questions, and then helped execute a bike trail so residents will be able to safely bike to Winchester.
- Chris Fordney, Former Parks and Rec Commissioner
Blaine Dunn has listened to our needs and supported efforts to provide financial assistance for fuel and insurance costs to the volunteer fire stations. That assistance has helped volunteer stations start to replace outdated equipment so we can better respond to medical and fire emergencies. He also has been supportive of the efforts to add staff to help reduce emergency response times.
